Healthcare is changing rapidly – which is a necessity as healthcare costs increase by 8-10% each year and there is a major shortage of personnel in every part of the healthcare sector. With our ageing population making considerably greater demands on healthcare in the decades ahead, the rapid and progressive implementation of e-health and prevention technologies is critical. In addition, there are many repetitive and predictive tasks that can be taken over by technology, which will lead to significant cost and time savings.
Unica is the largest installation company in the Netherlands and is active in the healthcare sector, where it digitises complex healthcare. For this occasion, Unica invited administrators from various healthcare institutions. I had the opportunity to talk about the future of healthcare and inspire the attendees about how traditional and harmful governance systems, also known as legacy systems, can be transformed to make the organisation more agile. We concluded the keynote with a fun and interesting Q&A session.
